AMG 'tuned' some civics with a spoiler, lowered spring, new wheels and AMG emblems. Don't laugh quite as hard next time you see a historically accurate Civic AMG recreation.

The AMG version was purely aesthetic
Yeah, for that reason I'm still gonna laugh. That, and the fact that South Africa is the only place in the world that had a 'legit' Civic AMG with none of the go-fast bits that make AMGs special even then, slapping an AMG badge on your Civic where I live (the US) is going to cause me and a lot of others to just laugh. May as well put an M badge on there too for all the good it will do here.
